  It’s been bugs galore this week! The highlight was creating bug hotels during our topic session and learning about why these are important habitats for the insects that live in our gardens.

  We have become fully immersed in our new topic 'Bug's Life' this week. The children have been really keen to share their knowledge about insects and as part of our topic work learnt about how to identify an insect? I wonder if your child can tell you?

  We have started our new topic on minibeasts by exploring snail shell spirals in our art provision.

  We are really looking forward to our trip to Legoland in July!

  I think the children would agree that the highlight this week was visiting the ice cream shop, helping to make some and eating it. Next week in our science session we will be finding out if we can make our own ice cream!

  The second group this morning had a great time at the ice cream shop and learnt all about making delicious ice cream!
