  • As part of our continuous provision this week, the children have been busy making play dough penguins. They have used their observational skills by looking at pictures and created their own penguin
  • This week in Explorers we have continued our earthquake and Tsunami topic and had the great privilege of listening to Graham and Lynne, who came into to speak to us about their experience in the 2004 Tsunami, which hit the coast of Sri-Lanka.
  • This week in Islands, we have been exploring ‘extreme weather’ and what that looks like in the United Kingdom and around the world and what patterns we can identify.
  • This week we have continued to explore Antarctica. We looked at some videos and pictures and used words to describe it. We talked about how it is different from where we live.
  • Oceans Rock! This week in Oceans, we've bene learning about rocks and how they are formed.
  • Being in school every day makes a difference, it's important!
  • We have been working really hard on our handwriting in class. We are making sure we are holding our pencils correctly to form our letters.

    School Meal Changes

    Dear Parents/Carers

    From after the holidays all lunches will need to be pre booked and paid for through the My Child at School App (MCAS).

    If you have not used MCAS yet please follow these instructions:

    From within the web browser type www.mychildatschool.com, this will open the Parent Login screen.
    Select “Reset Password”.
    Enter your email address and submit the form.
    An email will arrive with a link to set a new password.
    Once you have chosen your password log in as normal (or download and use the app).
    If you have any problems please contact the school office.

    The price of a school meal will also be increasing to £3.34
    Please find the new menu attached.
