  • In Islands this morning we have been sharing stories and telling stories. We have listened to our friends recommendations and changed our book bag books.
  • This week in Explorers have been learning dances in PE, thought about the school value of courage and some students were able to attend the Sheldonian for a concert / attended the Wale Residential trip.    
  • We’ve had a fantastic day exploring slate mines and climbing Lion Rock.
  • We have met our challenges during an amazing day today.
  • This week we have been learning facts about penguins and polar bears and we used our phonics to write fact sentences, remembering to use finger spaces between our words.
  • We’ve rafted, built a fire and toasted marshmallows. After tea we did a night trail, leading our partners around a trail.
  • We’ve arrived at the outdoor centre and are settling in.
  • We’ve arrived at the Sheldonian and are eagerly awaiting the concert to begin.
  • Children in Coral Reef have been experimenting with new painting techniques using brusho inks and water. They have really enjoyed seeing their pictures appear on the paper like magic!
  • We have introduced snack monitors-or as we like to call them snack chefs! Each day two children are chosen to be responsible for preparing our morning snack.

    School Meal Changes

    Dear Parents/Carers

    From after the holidays all lunches will need to be pre booked and paid for through the My Child at School App (MCAS).

    If you have not used MCAS yet please follow these instructions:

    From within the web browser type www.mychildatschool.com, this will open the Parent Login screen.
    Select “Reset Password”.
    Enter your email address and submit the form.
    An email will arrive with a link to set a new password.
    Once you have chosen your password log in as normal (or download and use the app).
    If you have any problems please contact the school office.

    The price of a school meal will also be increasing to £3.34
    Please find the new menu attached.
