  • Our new topic ‘amazing places and spaces’ has really sparked the children’s curiosity and creativity. We started by exploring our local area and thinking about what physical and human features we could find.
  • What a great first week back! We've started off our new term with a new book (Flood) and have begun to write our own narratives to accompany the wordless text.
  • Being in school every day makes a difference, it's important!
  • At St Frideswide, one of the ways we build our community is via our houses. This vertical grouping system helps develop team work and inter year group support networks.

    The event celebrates the 71st anniversary of Sir Roger Bannister’s historic sub-four-minute mile, achieved in Oxford on 6th May 1954, a milestone once thought impossible.

    School Meal Changes

    Dear Parents/Carers

    From after the holidays all lunches will need to be pre booked and paid for through the My Child at School App (MCAS).

    If you have not used MCAS yet please follow these instructions:

    From within the web browser type www.mychildatschool.com, this will open the Parent Login screen.
    Select “Reset Password”.
    Enter your email address and submit the form.
    An email will arrive with a link to set a new password.
    Once you have chosen your password log in as normal (or download and use the app).
    If you have any problems please contact the school office.

    The price of a school meal will also be increasing to £3.34
    Please find the new menu attached.
