Coral Reef Weekly Reflect and Review The children have had a fantastic week. The highlight being the day spent with John from the Oxford Lieder Music Project. The children have already been asking when he will be back.
Clay Monsters As part of our Wild things topic, this week the children in Coral Reef are making their own monsters using clay. They are building on the skills they learnt last week to create their monster.
Coral Reef Weekly Reflect and Review We have been busy creating our 3D maps out of clay this week, the children have all demonstrated high levels of engagement, focus and concentration as they manipulated the clay using a range of skills and techniques.
Drawing Club This week we are exploring the book "Not Now Bernard" in our Drawing Club sessions. We have thought about the setting and today we thought about what the monster could eat to take away the taste of Bernard!
3D map making This week in Coral Reef the children have started making their maps they drew last week into 3D maps using clay. They have been using different tools and techniques to bring their maps to life!
Cora coral Reef weekly reflective review The children have settled quickly back into school and have shown that they are ready to learn. This term our topic is Wild Things.
Number sentences This week in our maths lessons we have been writing a number sentence. We have used the correct symbols and have tried very hard with our number formation. We then worked out the answer using our fingers.
Map making Today we have been looking at different features on maps of imaginative lands and thinking about the story setting in our focus text ‘Where the Wild Things Are’
Trip to the park. We went to explore the weather and the nature in the park.
Coral Reef Weekly Reflect and Review This week we have been learning about different celebrations in RE including Chinese New Year and Holi. The children loved the idea of the powder paints being thrown to celebrate the festival of colour!
