We have recapped all our tables from last year and are now learning some new ones.

Coral reef begin to think about making a beautiful oops
This afternoon Laura T read us the story of ‘The Beautiful Oops’ all about turning mistakes into something beautiful. This week we will be making our own ‘oops’ and making them beautiful.

Year 1 and FSU begin to learn about Creation in RE.
This afternoon, we have been learning the story of creation in our first RE lesson.
Year 4 stretch in the sports hall
Year 3 are getting along swimmingly

Coral Reef recognise numbers in maths
In Maths time today we played games and used Numicon to recognise and show different numbers.
Year 1 love doing art
Yesterday we began playing the shape game, created by Anthony Browne. This is where you start with a random squiggle or shape and turn it into a piece of art. We have had so many amazing ideas, turning our shape into everything from flowers to cars.

Windrush Day Celebration
Join us at St Mary and St John Church on Sunday 22nd June at 10.30 for a special service of thanksgiving to honour the contribution of the Windrush Generation to the church and our community. All warmly welcome! Some of the children from St Frideswides will be singing and exhibiting some of their Windrush-themed artwork.

Community News: Kidical Mass Cycle Ride from Florence Park this Sunday 11th
Kidical Mass is a family-friendly mass bike ride going from outside Florence Park Cafe in Rymers Lane into the centre of Oxford. It is fully marshalled. It is designed to increase families’ confidence in cycling together on public roads and cycling paths, taking advantage of visibility and safety in numbers. They promote the idea that kids should be able to go by bike to school or to their leisure activities.
