Explorers Reflect & Review17 April 2026 (by Andy Gilbert (Andy)) |
A busy first week back!
The children have settled back into the term and have begun learning about Greek Myths and Legends.
As readers and writers, we’ve started our new text The Adventures of Odysseus, learning all about the famous story of Troy and Odysseus’s adventures following the fall. As historians, we’ve explored the art and culture of the Ancient Greeks, answering the question ‘what united the Ancient Greeks’. Next week we’ll be thinking about the battle of Thermopylae and imagining ourselves as a young soldier.
In Maths, Beagle have been busy exploring the parts and whole of shapes as we begin fractions whilst Endeavour have focused on solving word problems as they prepare for their SATs in May. Endurance has been linking percentage, fractions and decimals.
