It has been lovely to welcome everyone back after the Easter break. Our new topic this term is Amazing Spaces and Places.

We have started by exploring the book The Train Ride, talking about what the characters can see and sharing our own observations.

The children have also enjoyed playing together outside, engaging in lots of imaginative and cooperative games. For example, they used the planks to “surf” down the slope, supporting one another to challenge themselves while staying safe.

We have also been thinking about courage this week and what it means to be brave. We have watched The Flight of the Bumblebee Animated in colour on youtube. The bee shows courage and is helped by his friends, something the children have really enjoyed watching and talking about. You may want to watch it at home too.
