Coots have worked incredibly hard this week!

The children have been recording the weather each day and talking about, as well as writing, what we can do in different types of weather.

In maths, we have been developing our subitising skills and practising counting on from different starting points, using language such as “ten and three more is thirteen.”

Our golden rule this week has been “We listen.” As part of the whole-school oracy programme, the children have been practising listening to one another. Some have demonstrated this beautifully by listening to their friends’ drink choices when serving them.

We are all still working on taking turns and learning to tolerate others, even when they might feel a little annoying at times — an important life skill!
