    Oceans Weekly reflect and Review

8 December 2023 (by Menna (Menna))

    We are performance ready!

This week has been all about Oxford Song! We’ve been busy rehearsing our class songs ready for our performance next Tuesday at St John the Evangelist. We can’t wait for you to come and see our show!
When we haven’t been busy rehearsing, we’ve been writing our own versions of Arthur and the Golden Rope and wowing eachother with our incredible imaginations. In science, we've been investigating electricity, insulators and conductors.
Next week will be very busy with exciting things happening each day:

Monday 11th – Christmas Jumpers (again!)
Tuesday 12th – Smartest uniform day and Oxford Song performance
Wednesday 13th – Rocksteady concert, Christmas socks day and Christmas lunch day
Thursday 14th – Sparkle and shine day – wear your sparkles and sequins±
Friday 15th – Christmas Hair day

Monday 18th – Santa Sports – wear christmas PJs or your sports clothes and take part in our Santa run for Helen and Douglas House! Early finish at 11:30.

Helen & Douglas House helps local families cope with the challenges of looking after a terminally ill baby or child who will die prematurely.

Each year Helen & Douglas House need to raise over £4m to care for terminally ill children, this Christmas the care Helen & Douglas House provide will not only help families with the practicalities of caring for an ill child, but enable them to make magical, lasting memories.

We are delighted to be supporting them this year and thank you for contributing at Justgiving

We hope you have a wonderful weekend ready for next week!
