As we begin another sunny week we have thought about reading. We have discussed the importance of reading books and shared which stories we enjoy most; pirates, fairies, dinosaurs, animals, mermaids... Which is your favourite? We have asked the children to join us in a mini reading challenge, to share stories everyday! Looking at books together offers such a great learning opportunity for the children as they develop their communication and language skills, learn about the wider world and build upon their imagination and creative thinking. We hope you will join us and enjoy a book.
