This week in islands we have been exploring different prints and how we can master printing techniques by using different objects.
The children explored how to roll, rub, stamp and press to make different prints. We have used chalk. paint, crayon, mud, acrylic and powder to be creative in our printing techniques.
We have learnt how to experiment and use different methods to make prints on a wide variety of materials - wood, paper, polystyrene, fabric and concrete.
After half term, we will be exploring science and getting ready for our trip on Thursday 23rd February.
