This week we started our topic It’s a kind of Magic’ we have been learning bout Diwali and how families celebrate. We have been thinking about why we celebrate bonfire night.
We found out who Guy Fawkes was and learnt about how we can keep ourselves safe around bonfire night. We created firework artwork. Ask your child what they can remember about bonfire night safety?
Next week we will be thinking about the fantastic pop up story book ‘What’s in The Witches Kitchen’ and playing in our own witches kitchen. We will be exploring combing materials and creating witches potions as part of our science learning. We will also be thinking about Remembrance and finding out about the significance of poppies.
