    Oceans investigate why people move to the United Kingdom

    This week in Oceans we've been learning about the diversity of communities within Oxford. We used 2011 government census data to analyse the diversity within Oxford and how it has changed since 2001.

    We explored different reasons as to why people might move to the UK, be it social, economic, political or environmental reasons. Four of the children in our class shared their stories as to why their families moved to Oxford and the challenges they faced along the way. This weekend, why not talk about where your family has travelled and been? Have you ever lived outside of Oxford? The UK? Why did you move?
