An update from Granny Crockett and Grandpa George
Hello children, parents and staff,
We hope you enjoyed your Easter holiday. The plants have been really
growing at the allotment with the sun and the rain.
We planted some of your peas in troughs along the side of the shed and put nets onto the shed for them to grow up. The potato plants have started poking through the soil so we earthed up the trenches.
We watered the broad bean plants which have grown very tall now and have lots of bees buzzing around the flowers. We also prepared the space in the polytunnel ready for the tomato plants. Everything is growing very well in this lovely weather.
