Learning packed with laughter, achievements, and lots of perseverance!
All assessments have now been completed, and we are incredibly proud of all the children. They have shown fantastic perseverance, resilience, and determination throughout the assessment period. It has been wonderful to see them approach each challenge with such a positive attitude and a willingness to do their very best. Well done to everyone for their hard work and effort!
Next week, in English, we will continue exploring The Iron Man. The children have thoroughly enjoyed the story so far, and we look forward to developing their reading, writing, and comprehension skills through a range of exciting activities linked to the text.
In Mathematics, we will begin our new unit on geometry looking at the properties of Shape. The children will be learning about angles, turns, and the properties of different shapes, building their mathematical understanding through practical and engaging lessons.
On Tuesday, both Indian and Arctic classes will be visiting Greyfriars for a dress rehearsal of The Magic Flute in preparation for our final performance on Tuesday 30th June. The children have worked incredibly hard learning their songs and are very excited to perform. If you would like to attend, please email the Oceans team to reserve your seats as soon as possible. We look forward to seeing you here.
Please don't bring personal property into school - particularly squishes which can get lost or broken.
Homework: There is no sheet homework, reading buddy and sumdog are always available for those who chose it.
Thank you for your continued support.
We hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
