The Quay Reflect and Review

Term 6 Week 3

This week’s focus on houses and building has been a huge success. The Coots children particularly enjoyed learning a song from The Tweenies – a programme so old that it’s even older than Millie!

The Moorhens have continued their cooking adventures and have also taken part in lots of sporting activities this week. They enjoyed making their own juggling balls and learning how to juggle. They picked up the skill very quickly, and thankfully not too many juggling balls ended up flying around the classroom!

It has also been assessment week. We are incredibly proud of all the children for having a go and showing such positive attitudes. It has been wonderful to see the progress they have made, not only in their learning but also in their confidence and resilience when tackling tests, even when they found them challenging. Some children were so keen to show what they could do that they even asked to take harder tests!
